M. Susan Brown is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, the University of Denver, and Yale University, holding degrees in music theory and composition, librarianship, percussion performance, and accountancy. She has recently retired from Qwest Communications and is actively singing and composing choral music. Her works are often premiered and performed by St. Martin's Chamber Choir and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Denver. Many of her anthems have been performed across the United States and the Virgin Islands.
