Adoration Publishing is a sacred music publishing company founded in 1980 by Rev. Larry D. Ellis in Denver, Colorado. He started playing the piano early in life and started formal piano lessons at the age of five. He studied piano and organ for twelve years before graduating from high school in Duncan, Oklahoma. He studied organ at the University of Oklahoma, while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He has done graduate study in organ and choral conducting and theology at Westminster Choir College, Princeton NJ, theology at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena CA and hand bells
at Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, CO. He has a Masters in Worship
Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies and is presently
in the Doctoral Program there. He was also an organ student of Robert Cavara at CSU.
Mr. Ellis was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1989. Rev. Ellis has served as
organist and director of music in Baptist, Presbyterian and Episcopal churches.
